Overlapping strings

The challenge from the Diva this week is to create a tile using overlapping (superimposing) strings. I decided to keep my strings simple and used a circle, triangle, and square. Each shape actually went over the edge of the tile so only part of the shape is seen. I used only official zentangle tangle patterns. This kind of a challenge helps me stay true to traditional Zentangle so I really got into the zen of doing this.

  3. Beautiful work, Sue. Your projection of the inward curving line in the Paradox Pattern into the "Sky Web" (don't know name) pattern is a subtle element that I find very appealing. Terrific.

  4. Like the simplicity of this. Also like the string that you started with. It was simple also but gave you great spaces to work with.

  5. Lovely!! You did such a nice job of "Nzeppel - mine was my first try and it was pretty much a mess. Lovely you did!

  6. I think you are right; this really was like doing a "real" Zentangle and it was a refreshing challenge. Very nice tile, simple yet beautiful.
