Mardi Gras Monday
I actually was working on this last week when I was still in a Valentine mode. When I looked at this again though, I realized it fit the joyous spirit of Mardi Gras. Music, pianos, trumpets, happy dancing. Sure! Maybe later this week I'll do something with the green and gold colors too!

I love the way you used white to highlight your tile, it is really gorgeous! It is funny that you used mooka because I was thinking that the roaring 20's reminds me of the party feeling of Matti Gras!
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely tile Sue!I praktised also a heart out of 1 Mooka string yesterday, but yours is sooo lovely. I like how you did the composition of real things in pattern stile composed with zentangale pattern.May I ask how you colored that tile violett? Do you color your tile first in violett, draw in black and add white later? It doesn't look as if you colored it after drawing??- I was triggered of your pink Valentine hearts tile and drew a green flower, will post it later...
