Purple joy
As in yesterday's post, I'm looking for color in my zentangles. I started this one using purple card stock. It came from a pack that was meant for scrap-bookers. I found a stencil that inspired the 3 flower shapes that I tangled within. Then I had fun finding tangles that seemed full of life. The shading and highlighting were done with colored pencils.

I love this. I have to do some more Zentangles on coloured paper, it's such fun!
ReplyDeleteSo you do use Card Stock Paper for scrap booking. That paper is nice and thick, too. They come in all kinds of color. Plus I own a paper punch and a set of scissors with decorative edges that rounds off the corners of a squares which is Perfect for this!
ReplyDeleteI would love to have the Zentangle standard sized 3-1/2" tiles of different colors like your purple ones.
I love the white hi-lights you added to your purple zentangles and the idea of using colored pencils to coordinate the color of the paper for the shading.
Both your Purple Zentangle and Zendala are beautiful! I would love to do these in Green, Blue as well as purple.
