Weekly Challenge #24 "String Theory version II: Stripes"
Oooh, I like this challenge. It gives me a good opportunity to use the patterns I created. At the top is 8 of Diamonds. The next is a new one - so far, not yet named, then Adeline, Coil, Brandywine, and Zhostovo. There are instructions to these patterns on this blog. Look at the right hand column. Zhostovo is listed under January. Brandywine was in April.
I think I'll try a few more stripes later this week. And I'll get the steps to the new pattern done and name it. It's going to be busy the next few days. Several classes coming up.
Hah!! When I was looking through my pattern cards to decide what I wanted to do this week, I had a similar idea -- using border type patterns to fill the string. And it was most of the tangles on your finished piece here that gave me the idea. :D Even better to see it drawn out by the pattern designer. I love your patterns.
ReplyDeleteOoooo, I like the new tangle. Thanks for giving us a sneek peek.
