Summer is winding down so I wanted to try a zendala to remember the warm, lazy days of summer. (However, for me, this summer has been busier than ever.) I love the template, #107, Erin posted at The Bright Owl so I got started with it on one of my hand colored tiles. The tangles were done with a brown Micron and the shading with colored pencils. A few highlights were then added with my white graphite pencil.
Great combination of tangles. Like Meer in the center. You have quite a variety of tangles.
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting use of your hand colored tile and the brown micron. It gives a very different look. Your choice of tangles is great...they all work well together to make a lovely finished work.
ReplyDeleteWonderful zendala and the colours are fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThe background does look like a sunny day. And the zendala itself is really lovely. I love the shading and the white highlights.
ReplyDeleteI love everything of this zendala!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, Gorgeous! I love the colour, but more, I love that you have varied the tangles in adjacent spaces, yet kept a lovely balance.
ReplyDeleteReally nice combo of tangles that add so much interest to this piece. The brown of yellow is striking!
ReplyDeleteLovely! The yellow background really makes the tile glow!
