Zenith jewelry
Zenith is the latest tangle pattern posted by Zentangle.com. You can get to it by clicking HERE. I'm am really enjoying playing with this tangle because I love tangles that look really challenging. This one can be as complicated as you like, but as with most tangles, once you break it into steps, it's easy! And the possibilities for tangleations - well, you can see I had fun.
I did these on shrink plastic and photographed them before I shrunk them. In the second photo there is a piece that has been shrunk so you can see what the scale is. These will be either a necklace or earrings. At some point I may sell them on my blog shop but for now you have to get them from me in person at a class.
These are so inventive and lovely. I like what you have done here.
ReplyDeleteWhat a smart idea. I just purchased some of the shrink plastic. I love how yours turned out, and I like the oval idea as well. I think this tangle does have a lot of possibilities and you did some mighty fine "stretching"!
ReplyDeleteThese are just beautiful! I love the one with Mooka and the one with the sort of Florz pattern and stippling. Show us when they are finished as jewelry, please!
ReplyDeleteThose will make stunning jewelry . Very clever.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful jewelry! Love it.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of shrink plastic. I hope you'll share some of your finished jewelry pieces. I'm having trouble picturing it. Nice.
ReplyDeleteThese are all wonderful! I love that you can draw big and then have it shrink to a more manageable size. These would look great on an organza ribbon. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to do these in shrink plastic, and then shrink them down. Sometimes it's easier to learn a new tango when you do it in a larger format. I love what you did these and would love to see the finished jewelry.
ReplyDeleteLike all the variations. Think there are a lot different ways to finish this tangle.
ReplyDeleteSue, I love these!! My kids and I have been doing 'Shrinky Dinks" all summer. And Zentangle works awesome on it! Have fun with it! Sharpies works best for color! :0) Annette
ReplyDeleteI can see the enjoyment you are having Sue, they look super.
ReplyDeleteI do admire the way you can turn the tangles into a product. These look fantastic.
ReplyDeleteLovely necklaces!!!! I might use this tangle in some of the pendants I make :-)
ReplyDeleteOh my! I love these. Can't decide which one is my favorite. Like chef who fixes a delicacy in many ways, you've got Zenith six ways, and even your "plating" is terrific. Restaurant quality hee hee hee
