This challenge from 'the Diva' asks us to use two, and only two tangle patterns. Pokeroot is one of the tangles in my basics class. I teach it so often there that I don't use it much in my own tiles. Cubine is another tangle that I frequently overlook and I shouldn't. So this challenge was good for me.
I had two ideas come to me as I thought about this challenge so I finally decided I might as well just do them both!
Both are creative and beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteGreat combination of these two tangles.
ReplyDeleteVery Creative !
Both are fabulous. I think the bottom one is really unique and charming!
ReplyDeleteThese are both great. Love the second one, it has an air of mystery behind it (what's beyond the door?)
ReplyDeleteThe second tile makes me giddy. I think because I wouldn't have thought of that and I adore a large pokeroot!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love that second tile!
ReplyDeleteI love both of these but the second one just blows me away. Real original thinking.
ReplyDeleteI don't use Pokeroot very often but I do love Cubine. These are both very cool! Great ideas!
ReplyDeleteBoth are very original and beautiful, for me the second one is the winner :-)
ReplyDeleteThe second one is just genious!
ReplyDeleteGreat tiles. The second one is so funny and surprising.
ReplyDeletethat's a real neat treatment, using one pokeroot, and one cubine embedded in it. Clever!
ReplyDeleteGreat tiles! Can't choose a favorite :-)
ReplyDeleteVery creative! I like that single cubine in the pokeroot!
ReplyDeleteI like both tiles but most of all I love the second one with this very big pokeroot and the cubine-window in it. Very creative :-)
ReplyDeleteI love them both, but the second one cracks me up. How fun!
ReplyDeleteLike the frosted look in the first one, but have to admit I really like the second one. Great perspective and love the Cubine window.
ReplyDeleteit looks like you've got really cool lighting on that first tile. very nice now it glows and the shading really draws the eye. but my favorite is the second. so cool!
ReplyDeleteLove the Poke root with the cubine window!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully Done, love the second one the best.
ReplyDeletehihi, like both of your Versions, incl. :-) window cubine. Great tangling, Sue.
ReplyDeleteLove them both but the second one is my favourite too. Brilliant work.
