Blurred lines

This challenge is to do a tile using only straight lines in the tangles. I had a hard time picking these as I really missed the curved ones. But I loved adding the shading.
Doing this late at night I had to take the picture with my phone camera and the room lights, so that's why I called it Blurred Lines.

  1. I love how you tangled that Paradox. It really gives an illusion of movement. Nice tile!

  2. A terrific Tile, Sue. I love when Paradox is used as a string. Well, done.

  5. Like the contrast of the bold lines in the background with the detail in the foreground. I almost never do Paradox in a square shape. Never like the way it turns out. Using it as a string does give a unique perspective. Almost hides the Paradox.

  6. Your tile has a great curvy movement without a single curve! I do that all the time, by the way, tangle late and take too-dark cell phone pictures, but sometimes I think it enhances the mystique!

  7. Love the idea of paradox as a string, and to be honest, I didn't even notice that until I read the comments. I was just thinking that I really liked your title "blurred lines" because your shading has given a very bold piece such softness. Nicely done!
