Spiral vs paradox challenge

I wasn't sure how I wanted to approach this challenge but then, in the middle of the night I got it. Then, of course, the next morning I had to rack my brain trying to remember exactly what it was that inspired me.

When I got to my pens, this is what resulted. I love to do paradox. I love how such a simple pattern can look so complex when you put several shapes together. And as I do them I can see that there is a spiral within them. All I had to do was add color to bring them out. And you all know how I love to play with color!

The color here was done with my colored micron pens with a little added colored pencil on the second tile.

  1. Sue, these are wonderful! Both are great, but I'm really drawn to the second one. I love when you add color...I wish I were better at it!

I don't know if you're aware that you have word verification on, but I am having a very difficult time figuring out the two words it asks for now. I have a post on my blog that gives a step by step on how to turn off word verification, but still be able to moderate your comments, if you're interested.

Gonna give it one more try to get these words right! LOL!

  5. Love both of these. They are simple yet very effective with the precision and color. Did you draw freehand or use a ruler? Just wondering. I must rethink and try simple again! Thanks

  6. Nicely done, color is a nice addition here. They look like Paradox shields.

I regret that I've had to add the verification again due to a large amount of spam.
